1971 Green Label Foods founded by Miriam and Maurice Buchanan at Debach in Suffolk
1980 The Gressingham Duck was first bred using strains of wild Mallard in the village of Gressingham near Lancaster
1989 The Buchanan family first began rearing and processing Gressingham Duck
1996 The Buchanan Family bought the exclusive right to breed Gressingham Ducks
2003 William and Geoffrey Buchanan (sons of the founders) become Managing Directors of Gressingham Foods
2005 Winner, Best New Poultry Product at the Meat Industry Awards
2005 Winner, East Anglian Daily Times, Business of the Year
2006 Green Label Foods changes name to Gressingham Foods
2007 Launch of new brand identity
2007 Gressingham Foods completes the purchase of Norfolk Button Farms, a production site in Redgrave, Suffolk, and the MFD and Breckland Ducks farm brands.
2008 Gressingham Foods completes purchase of East Farm, Horsham St Faiths, Norwich, a site dedicated to free–range duck production.
